The October stableford took place on Saturday the 1st with players enjoying  perfect conditions.  Division 1 was won by Mike Ford [6] with 39 points, second went to Alec Anderson[10] with 37 points and third place went to Hugh Lawes [6] on  36 points missing out on count back. Hugh managed two eagles in his round - one on the 13th hole and the other on the 18th, this is a very rare occurrence.


Division 2 was won by Mark Bonnett [15] with 36 points, second place went to Nick Adams [18] with 35 points and third place went to Shaun Whitefield [17] also with 35 points.  Division 3 was won by Matt Williams [22] with 39 points, second was Tim Emerton [20] with 37 points and  third place went to Mark Singleton [24] also scoring 37 points missing out on count back.


The September Medal took place  on Sunday the 16th in particularly tricky conditions, this reflected in the CSS going up to 73 for the round. Matt Green 80/12/68 winning division 1, Mark Stickley 73/4/69 was second. Third place went to  Dave Whalley 76/5/71.   Division 2 saw the first three places separated by count back first place went to David Shaw 88/14/74. Second  went to Mick Gardner 88/14/74, third place went to Dave Allen 90/16/74. Mike Stopforth 90/20/70 took the win in division 3, second place went to David Pearce 98/25 /73 and third place went to Andy Symms 94/20/74.


The mid week stableford was played on Thursday 20th.  Division one  was won by Steve Blake [5] with 38 points, second place went to Jim Stewart [8] with 37 points and third went to Alan Wood [9] with 36 points. Division two was won by Declan O'Toole [14]  with 39 points. Second place went to Tom Cassomini [12] with 37 points beating Paul Coxhead on count back.  Division 3 was won by club captain Adrian Crook [21]  with 35 points, John Holdaway [21] was second with 32 points and Frank Stanton [28] was third  with 29 points.


Finally well done to Paul Conway on winning the Came Down masters, this is the end of season final for the competition winners in the previous season.
